New Orleans-Style Restaurant Coming To 280 Corridor
Ruby Slipper Cafe is coming to the Birmingham area soon, bringing a New Orleans flair to the area's restaurant scene.
HOOVER, AL — A New Orleans style restaurant plans to open soon on the 280 corridor. Ruby Slipper Cafe will occupy the former IHOP location in the Brook Highland shopping center, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.
Ruby Slipper Cafe confirmed to the BBJ the location of the new restaurant, but did not confirm an opening date.
Ruby Slipper Cafe was founded in May 2008 after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. It has since expanded to multiple cities in Louisiana, Alabama and Florida along the Gulf Coast.
