New Publix Supermarket To Open In Hoover
Hoover is getting another Publix grocery store, the sixth Hoover location for the Florida-based grocery chain.
HOOVER, AL — Another Publix grocery store is about to open in Hoover. The new store, at 4293 South Shades Crest Road, will be the sixth Publix store in Hoover, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.
The Florida-based grocery store chain plans to open its Morgan Road Plaza location on May 26, and the 48,300-square-foot location will employ 135 people.
In addition to traditional services, the new Publix will offer contactless pay options, curbside pick-up, grocery delivery through Instacart and pharmacy delivery. It will also offer indoor and outdoor café seating with social distancing measures, and Wi-Fi is available for shoppers
