Patton Chapel Bridge Project Extended Past June
The Patton Chapel Bridge will be competed this summer, but the project itself will not be finished until 2021.
HOOVER, AL — The City of Hoover has been informed by Jefferson County that the Patton Chapel Bridge project has been extended past June 21. The new completion date for the bridge itself is now scheduled for late August 2020.
The County said several roadway items need to be completed prior to reopening the area for traffic, however. Tentatively, the reopening date for traffic is scheduled for March/ April 2021.
The completion date for the entire project is mid-November 2021. However, that could be pushed due to utility conflicts.
