Registration Open For Hoover Schools YMCA Afterschool Academy

HOOVER, AL — Registration is open for Hoover City Schools' YMCA Afterschool Academy for the 2021-2022 school year. The YMCA of Greater Birmingham offers its Afterschool Academy on-site at all HCS elementary schools.

The academy is designed to help kids in every community succeed developmentally and academically.

Students who take part in the Afterschool Academy participate in homework help, physical activity, math and literacy activities, global learning and inclusion, college and career development and leadership development, among other services.
