Spain Park's Sarah Ashlee Barker Is 7A Player Of The Year

HOOVER, AL - The city of Hoover had a pretty successful basketball season this year. With Hoover High School's boys and girls teams making the final 4 and Spain Park's girls reaching the regional finals. Hoover's girls captured a state championship, and this week Spain Park's Sarah Ashlee Barker was named the 7A Player of the Year.

Barker was also named to the girls Super All-State Team, which includes players of any classification. Barker was joined on the Super All State team by Hoover's Joiya Maddox.

Barker is a Class of 2020 player, but has already committed to play basketball at the University of Georgia after high school.
