Teacher Of The Year Announced At Greystone And Berry For 2017
McLaughlin and Clark have the honor of being named Hoover's elementary and secondary teachers of the year, respectively.
HOOVER, AL — District school officials had the pleasure of surprising two of Hoover school system’s teachers in their classrooms yesterday as Teachers of the Year for the 2017-2018 academic year. The recipient for the title of Hoover’s Elementary Teacher of the Year is Carol McLaughlin. She is a second grade teacher at Greystone Elementary, and has been there for over a decade, according to The Hoover Sun. Lincoln Clark of Berry Middle School is the recipient of the Secondary Teacher of the Year title. He has served as a science teacher at Berry since he was brought on board in 2000.
