Huntsville Animal Services continues to receive homeless pets daily and Shelter volunteers say they need the community’s urgent help to house more than 80 dogs and 20 cats. Starting Monday, September 9, through Saturday, September 14, adoption fees will be waived on most of the animals at the Shelter.

To meet the dozens of beautiful pets needing a home, visit the Shelter at 4950 Triana Boulevard, or view the portfolio of adoptable pets on the website. The Shelter’s hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you don’t find the perfect pet, there is another adoption opportunity coming up with our partners at A New Leash On Life. They are hosting a White Tent event on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, at the PetSmart parking lot in Jones Valley.
