Alabama Amber Alert: 5-Week-Old Found Safe
The girl went missing around 3 p.m. Saturday on the 3100 block of Airport Boulevard. She was later found safe, officials said Sunday.

MOBILE, AL — A 5-week-old girl who went missing Saturday afternoon has been found safe. An Amber Alert was issued after officials said Christiana Hagler was abducted around 3 p.m. Saturday by a man at a shopping complex in Mobile. The baby was said to be in "extreme danger."
The girl was found safe, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Missing Person Alert program said in a tweet Sunday. The Amber Alert has been cancelled.

The girl went missing on the 3100 block of Airport Boulevard. Her abductor was described as a white man in his mid-30s who might go by the name of Shawn. He has red hair, officials said.

The abductor could've beenin a 2003 black Cadillac Escalade with the Alabama license plate 2BW5517.

According to WKRG-TV, the child's mother told police she had picked up the man — who who she didn't know — on the Interstate 65 Service Road, then later went into a store with the man and her child. Police said she asked the man to take her child out to her vehicle to wait for her. When she came out, the man, her child, and her vehicle were gone.
