City Of Mobile Police Department: Homicide Investigation At Avalon Plaza Apartments

December 22, 2020

On Monday, December 21, 2020 at approximately 10:16 p.m., police responded to Avalon Plaza Apartments, 3600 Michael Boulevard, in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

The male victim was identified as 39-year-old Larry Taylor. Taylor was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. 

The suspect, 35-year-old Jonathan Murphy, was found connected to the killing. Murphy was arrested and charged with murder.
