Bama QB Shows Up To Pelham Football Game
Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts was on hand to see Pelham defeat Calera Friday night.

CALERA, AL - Pelham's 45-24 victory over Calera was a sight to see, as the Panthers overcame a two-touchdown deficit to storm back and win. But what was happening off the field Friday night caused some excitement as well. University of Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts showed up to the game and was subsequently mobbed by fans as he watched the game.
Hurts attended the game to see his friend and former Bama QB Andrew Zow, who is the head coach for Calera. Here is the scene of Hurts and a huge following of fans:

"He and I built a relationship over the last year or so," Zow said to Alabama Media Group. "It's basically old quarterback, new quarterback, just someone to be in his corner. ... He's a man of his word. He said he was going to come to a game."
