Bulls Begin Season With Pair Of Wins
The Birmingham Bulls opened their season over the weekend, and notched two victories, as they return to Pelham this weekend.
PELHAM, AL - The Birmingham Bulls opened their season over the weekend at the Pelham Civic Complex, and notched the first of its two wins, to begin the season 2-0. The Bulls return to Pelham Friday to play Evansville.
The Bulls beat Huntsville in the season opener 5-4, then traveled to Pensacola and beat the Ice Flyers 3-2. Birmingham stormed in front of Huntsville in the opening period 3-1, then held on for the win.
Birmingham fell behind Pensacola 2-1 after two periods of play, but scored two third period goals to come away with the road win.
