PELHAM, AL - The dream season for the Birmingham Bulls ended this weekend just short of the ultimate goal of a championship. The Hunstville Havoc swept the Bulls in the SPHL President's Cup series two games to none to capture their second consecutive SPHL title.
Huntsville beat the Bulls 4-3 in overtime to take Game 1 of the Southern Professional Hockey League finals Friday night, and then defeated Birmingham 4-2 Saturday to capture the title.
