SHELBY COUNTY, AL - A community cannot grow and prosper without top notch facilities and services, and Shelby County wants to know how it can improve. That is why the county is asking citizens to fill out its County Quality of Place and Wellness Survey.

Shelby County is asking residents 18 and older to assist the University of Alabama Research Team in the ongoing strategic planning efforts and the analysis of the current Community Service Demands, Requirements, and Expectations for the county.

Participation in this anonymous survey will impact the delivery of services in the county, and the results of this survey and strategic planning actions will directly impact future funding decisions or requests. The project is sponsored by the Shelby County Commission and is being conducted by Dr. Debra McCallum and Dr. Lauren Kois at the University of Alabama.
