Helena To Host Community Mental Health Fair

The City of Helena will host a Community Mental Health Fair March 10 to help 'Erase the Stigma' surrounding mental health.

HELENA, AL - With a bevy of discussion nationwide surrounding mental illness and health lately, it is rather timely that the City of Helena is hosting a Community Mental Health Fair March 10. The free event was put together to allow participants to learn about mental health, treatment, and resources from a panel of local mental health professionals. This event will be held at the Helena Community Center from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.

A panel discussion will begin at 10 a.m. to discuss local treatment resources. The panel will include representatives from a variety of local mental health treatment providers and resources both for those living with mental illnesses and their friends and families.
