Hitting The Polls In Pelham: U.S. Senate Special Election
Turn out for the Special Election of Alabama U.S. Senate has been steady and is expected to pick up throughout the afternoon and evening.

PELHAM, AL — Alabama residents are on the world stage as the votes are cast in the U.S. Senate’s special election for Doug Jones (D) or Roy Moore (R). The polls opened across the state at 7 a.m. and will remain open for registered voters until 7 p.m. central time.
Members of the Pelham community were ready and waiting at Pelham Civic Complex at 500 Amphitheater Road, one of the many polling places for Pelham and Shelby County residents. Approximately 50 residents of Pelham’s 20th voter precinct had already placed their ballot thirty minutes after the polls officially opened. The voter traffic is expected to stay a steady stream with higher volume peak times around lunch and the end of the work day.
