Money Magazine Picks Pelham As Best Place To Live In Alabama

PELHAM, AL - When Money magazine set out to put together a list of the best cities in America, its criteria included a mix of healthy economy, affordable housing and high quality of life to determine which cities made the list. When the list was compiled, Money found that Pelham was the best city in Alabama in which to live.

The list, which is an annual feature by Money, included Pelham for a variety of reasons, but namely because it is home to Oak Mountain State Park, and because its high school graduation rate is at 95 percent. As well, Money mentions that Pelham is home to more than 5,500 businesses, nearly double that of any other town in the county.
