National Drug Take-back Day April 28 In Shelby County
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is participating in National Drug Take Back Day this Saturday.

SHELBY COUNTY, AL - The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is taking part in National Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 28. The initiative allows people to return unused or expired prescription drugs they may have in their homes in an effort to improve home safety and to raise awareness of the drug crisis in the country.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public its 15th opportunity in 7 years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
Residents can bring pills for disposal to any of the following locations:
