New Cajun Restaurant Opens in Pelham
A New Orleans-themed Cajun restaurant has opened at 3120 Shelby County 52 W in Pelham.

PELHAM, AL - A taste of New Orleans is coming to Pelham, as Cajun Boys and Our Po-boys restaurant had a soft opening this weekend on 3120 Shelby County 52 W, featuring a New Orleans-themed atmosphere and Louisiana favorites such as gumbo, po’boys and raw oysters. The restaurant will open officially Sept. 9.
The restaurant, owned by Jack and Michelle Donovan who also own Donovan Builders, was a project built out of family roots. Jack Donovan is a New Orleans native and the recipes used at the eatery are old family recipes, he said.
Michelle Donovan told The Shelby County Reporter the restaurant receives fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico every week, and when crawfish season rolls around the restaurant will offer it too.
