Pelham, Helena, Indian Springs Make Top 10 Places To Live List

PELHAM, AL - In the annual poll by website Niche.com, the top cities in Alabama were ranked in order of best places to live. And Pelham, Helena and Indian Springs Village all made the top 10.

The annual list by niche.com compiled data based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities. Rankings were based on data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources.

The ten best cities in which to live in Alabama are:

1. Madison
2. Homewood
3. Vestavia Hills
4. Hoover
5. Mountain Brook
6. Auburn
7. Indian Springs Village
8. Meadowbrook
9. Helena
10. Pelham

Indian Springs Village received an A+ overall with an A- for public schools, an A for housing, an A+ for being good for families, a B for nightlife and a B- for diversity. Helena received an A overall and an A- for schools, An A for housing, an A+ for being family friendly, a B for crime and safety, a B- for nightlife and a B+ for diversity. Pelham received an A overall and an A- for schools, an A for housing, and A for being family friendly, a B for crime and safety, a B for nightlife and an A- for diversity.
