Pelham Police Department To Host 8th Annual Polar Plunge Jan. 13

PELHAM, AL — Ready to take the plunge? The Pelham Police Department will host its 8th Annual Polar Plunge benefitting the Special Olympics Alabama on Jan. 13, 2018. Participants can register individually or as four-person teams. All proceeds from the Polar Plunge event will go toward the Alabama Law Enforcement Torch Run, that also benefits Special Olympics Alabama.

Advanced registration is going on now — $35 for individual participants, $120 for four-member teams — but you may also register the day of the event at a higher price.

Pelham PD has raised the stakes for local high schoolers and added an incentive. The school that raises the most money for Special Olympics will win a free pep rally from iHeart Radio, according to PPD’s website.
