Pelham’s 2017 Christmas Lights Contest Winners Announced

PELHAM, AL — As previously reported, Pelham’s Beautification Board went around the city to judge all the Christmas decorations and lights entered into the official contest on the evening of Dec. 5. The winners in the original categories, along with several new categories have been announced, and will be added to the Beautification Board’s webpage soon.

According to The Pelham Reporter, the some of the new categories added are as follows:

• Traditional lights and decorations
• Contemporary décor and lights
• Small commercial
• Large commercial
• Best Nativity scene

The winners and honorable mentions are scheduled to be recognized at a City Council meeting next month.
