Texas Company Acquires Pelham Media Firm
Austin-based Mood Media acquired all assets of focus4media in Pelham, which was one of the largest Mood independent affiliates in the U.S.
PELHAM, AL - Austin-based Mood Media acquired all assets of focus4media in Pelham, which was one of the largest Mood independent affiliates in the United States providing sight, sound, scent and systems solutions to businesses in Alabama, Florida, Virginia and other Eastern states.
According to a report by the Birmingham Business Journal, Birmingham employees will be offered employment, and Gary Alshouse, focus4media's CEO, will remain with the new company in a leadership role. The office in Pelham will remain open and will be rebranded as Mood Media, according to Ken Eissing, Mood Media’s president of in-store media.

Mood Media is expanding in its core audio and visual markets and the acquisition is in line with its plans for the region. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
