Univ. Of Alabama Hockey Club’s Second Annual Teddy Toss Tonight

PELHAM, AL — Come out and support the University of Alabama Hockey Club as they go up against the Midland Warriors at the Pelham Civic Complex, tonight at 7pm. According to a University of Alabama Hockey Club press release, this game will be the Club’s second annual Teddy Toss event supporting the Tuscaloosa Police Department and other first responders.

Fans that bring teddy bears and stuffed animals to the game tonight will receive a discount on tickets, and will be encouraged to throw their bears onto the ice after Alabama scores its first goal of the game. TPD and first responders use these teddy bears and stuffed animals to comfort children after traumatic experiences or natural disasters.
