12 From Tuscaloosa Named To All-State Teams In Baseball, Softball

Here's a look at how Tuscaloosa County was represented on the All-State lists from the Alabama Sports Writers Association this week.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — This week saw the Alabama Sports Writers Association release its 2021 All-State teams for softball and baseball, which featured a dozen athletes from Tuscaloosa County.

Here's a look at how schools from Tuscaloosa County were represented on the lists.


Baseball

  • Payte Williams, (pitcher) Hillcrest. Sr. (6A Second Team)
  • Luke Williams, (outfield) Hillcrest. Jr. (6A Second Team)
  • Nathan Shelton, (pitcher) American Christian. Sr. (4A First Team)
  • Hunter Sute, (designated hitter) American Christian, (4A First Team)
  • Jordan Evans, (infield) Tuscaloosa Academy, Jr. (AISA First Team)
