Patch previously reported when the 2020 installment of the annual arts festival, which is the city of Northport's largest annual event, was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, impacting 270 artists and resulting in an estimated revenue loss in excess of $200,000. This prompted the Festival Forever Fund, which had raised $13,834 toward its goal of $250,000 as of Monday, just through its online portal alone and not factoring in other donations.
