City Of Tuscaloosa, PARA Announce July 4th Celebration Plans
Here's a first look at how the City of Tuscaloosa plans to celebrate Independence Day next month at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa and the Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority (PARA) on Wednesday announced plans for a Fourth of July Celebration on the River on Sunday, July 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.
The family-friendly event will be free and open to the public, while also including live music, activities for kids, fireworks and more.

(6 p.m.) — PARA Kids’ Zone opens
(7:45 p.m.) — The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra performs.

(9 p.m.) — Fireworks following brief remarks from Mayor Walt Maddox.
“We are thrilled to bring back our City’s celebration of the birth of our nation this Fourth of July, after having a scaled-down event last year,” Maddox said. “Now that we can safely gather outdoors, the City of Tuscaloosa can celebrate this important day in a way that would make the founding fathers proud.”
The city says limited parking will be available in the grass lot by the Amphitheater and attendees may also park in the free Downtown Intermodal Facility and take a shuttle or walk to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.
The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater’s clear bag policy will be in effect.
