Colt Ford Named Headliner For 4th Annual Woodstock Music Festival
The Town of Woodstock will see the country music star headline the return of its music festival, which was canceled in 2020.

WOODSTOCK, AL — As live music cautiously returns with the coronavirus pandemic showing signs of reprieve, country music star Colt Ford has been announced as the headlining act for the fourth annual Woodstock Music Festival.
The 2020 installment of the annual festival was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but will look to return on May 8 at Holiday Raceway.
Woodstock Mayor Jeff Dodson said the festival will once again be free to the public, with parking donations of $10 per car that will fund improvements at the Woodstock Ball Park.

"The first year [the Georgia Thunderbolts] were with us, some of them were still under 21 so all their parents came and ran their merchandise booth," added Michele Dickey, director of Library & Media Services for the town. "The band took the time to hang out with several of our special needs kids who had backstage passes."
Loxley, Alabama's Sugarcane Jane — a husband and wife duo that plays Americana and roots music — will open the festival.
“Festival T-shirts are on sale now at Town Hall,” said Town Clerk Tiffney McCulley. “We’re planning a second special design to support a local nonprofit and we expect both styles of shirts to sell out as quickly as they have in years past.”
T-shirts can ordered online by submitting an order to townclerk@townofwoodstockal.com. Shipping is $8.00 or shirts can be picked up at Town Hall.
Those interested are asked to include color and size.
