County High Hosting First 'Lady Football Clinic' In July

Tuscaloosa County High invites moms, aunts, grandmothers, sisters and any other ladies interested in learning about Wildcat football.

NORTHPORT, AL — Mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters and anyone else interested in learning more about Tuscaloosa County High School football are invited to attend the school's first Wildcat Lady Football Clinic.

The free event will be from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 26.

The effort is the latest by first-year football coach Adam Winegarden, who has already hosted numerous events geared toward community engagement as he looks to turn around the program and solicit community buy-in

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the rules of the game, football safety, and learning an offensive and defensive position.

TCHS says all attendees will get a free T-shirt and will be eligible for door prizes.

Attendees are also asked to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
