EMA: Rain Prompts Time Change For Northport Vaccine Registration
Tuscaloosa County EMA says the second day of its pop-up vaccine registration event will be shortened due to severe weather

NORTHPORT, AL — Tuscaloosa County EMA officials have shortened today's pop-up vaccine registration event in Northport as storms bringing rain and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon.
Tuesday's pop-up registration at Northport Baptist opened at 8 a.m. and will last until noon. This also marked the second day officials were set up at Northport Baptist Church, providing free registration for those wishing to receive the coronavirus vaccine through DCH Health System.

Once the effort concludes at the church in Northport, EMA officials will turn their focus next to Alberta Baptist Church on Thursday and Friday. The church is located at 2210 University Boulevard and registration will be available from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Tuscaloosa County EMA has previously held pop-up registration events in Brookwood, Fosters, Taylorville, Samantha, as well as at the West Tuscaloosa Storm Shelter.
