Eutaw Woman Killed, Tuscaloosa Woman Hurt In Greene County Crash

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash occurred Tuesday night on County Road 131 in Greene County, just north of Eutaw.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a Eutaw woman was killed and Tuscaloosa woman injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night on County Road 131 in Greene County, roughly a mile north of Eutaw.

ALEA says the crash occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. when a 2001 Lincoln Town Car driven by Latarius Katrice Lewis, 41, of Eutaw collided with a 2008 Suzuki SX4 driven by a woman from Tuscaloosa.

Lewis was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver of the Suzuki was transported to an area hospital for treatment for her injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
