Former Tide Running Back Hosting Camp In Tuscaloosa Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Football players of all ages in Tuscaloosa are invited to learn about the game from former Crimson Tide running back Bo Scarbrough on Saturday.

The NFL free agent running back and Tuscaloosa native will host a football camp at Central High School on Saturday, with the first round for ages 7 to 14 set to begin at 9 a.m. The second grouping at the camp will kick off at 5 p.m. and will be for ages 14 to 17.

The event will accept sign-ups the day of the camp and the cost of registration is $50.

Scarbrough ran for 1,512 yards and 20 touchdowns during his three years playing for the Crimson Tide, before leaving after his junior season and being taken in the seventh round by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2018 NFL Draft.

After stints on several NFL practice squads, Scarbrough would see his first NFL action for the Detroit Lions after being activated off the practice squad during the 2019 season.

Scarbrough is currently a free agent after his practice squad contract expired with the Seattle Seahawks earlier this year.
