Holidays On The River Set To Return To Amphitheater Nov. 23
The annual Christmas event will feature outdoor ice skating, horse-drawn carriage rides and other holiday offerings.
TUSCALOOSA, AL. — The city of Tuscaloosa announced on Wednesday that its Holidays on the River event will return on Monday, Nov. 23 to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.
The event season will run through Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, with tickets going on sale Nov. 1. Holidays on the River will feature outdoor ice skating, horse-drawn carriage rides and other holiday offerings.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, special health and safety precautions will be observed in line with guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), in addition to other state and local guidelines.

The city says additional spacing will be provided for parties, but the ice-rink will be kept at 50% capacity and sanitizing stations will be placed around the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.
Admission for the event will be free to the public, but guests must purchase skate pass tickets for skate rentals and access to the ice rink. Skate passes are priced at $15 per person and include unlimited skating for the day, as well as skate rentals.

The city will also offer birthday and corporate party rental packages.
