How You Can Help Tornado Victims In Bibb, Hale County
Here is a breakdown of needs and how you can help those in central Alabama impacted by severe weather on Thursday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Numerous towns and cities in west and central Alabama were ravaged by a line of storms Thursday that spawned destructive tornadoes. While the Tuscaloosa metro was largely unscathed during the significant weather event, other nearby municipalities were not as lucky.
Here is a county-by-county breakdown of how you can help those affected by the storms.
Bibb County

— Brent United Methodist Church has been serving as a stop for first responders during the crisis and is asking for donations of any supplies. The church is located at 190 Tabernacle Road in Brent.
— The Centreville Fire Department is requesting donations for those impacted Thursday and is asking for the following items to be dropped off at 424 Montevallo Road in Centreville.

— The West Blocton First Baptist Church food pantry is currently available to any storm victims and would be a suitable place for those wishing to donate food items to those impacted. To donate or learn more, contact Matt Pope at (205) 572-8280.
— Donations are being accepted at West Blocton Town Hall, with organizers asking for water and Gatorade specifically. The Town Hall is located at 1139 Main Street, West Blocton.
— Chad Payne and New Life Assembly of God in Woodstock will be collecting the following items for tornado victims from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Friday. The church is located at 27039 Highway 5 in Woodstock.

Hale County
— Moundville Elementary, Hale County Middle and Hale County High School will be collecting supplies for those who had damage and lost personal property due to the tornado on Thursday. The school's auditorium will be open from 8 a.m. until noon on Friday.

— Northport Mayor Bobby Herndon is collecting donations at his personal office, located at 2728 Lurleen Wallace Boulevard beginning today through 2 p.m. Herdon said he will also take donations from 5:30 a.m. until dark on Monday and Tuesday, before taking the items to Greensboro Baptist Church in Hale County.
