Jersey Mike's Subs Coming to McFarland Boulevard In Northport

NORTHPORT, AL — While the exact location has not been officially released, news broke Monday night concerning the latest eatery to announce plans for a new Northport restaurant as Jersey Mike's Subs will soon called McFarland Boulevard home in a brand new building with multiple tenants.

Northport City Council President Jeff Hogg said the sandwich franchise expects to open in early 2022 and will be the second location in Tuscaloosa County, after the company opened a restaurant in the former Pita Pit location on The Strip.

"At this time, due to some confidentiality, the specific location cannot be disclosed, but what I can say is that it will be on McFarland Boulevard in a brand new building with multiple tenants who will be named later," Hogg said. "Yes, there are more businesses coming."

Hogg then said the location in question is in need of a revitalization and the development will be a catalyst to get it started.

"Jersey Mike's has been requested from citizens for years to come to Northport," he said. "We are very happy that they have chosen Northport as their next location and we are all patiently waiting their arrival."
