- The Northport City Council voted unanimously to extend the employment contract for City Administrator Glenda Webb for an additional year, to bring her contract in line with the current council term.
- Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority and the YMCA will host the 2021 Swim to the Top Final Showcase on Sunday, July 11 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. An open house will also be hosted by the Benjamin Barnes Branch YMCA and PARA’s Freeman Pool, located at 3001 Dragons Lane.
