Northport Woman Killed, Two Injured In Highway 43 Crash Monday
ALEA says Audra Mary Rogers, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were injured in the Monday evening crash
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Northport woman was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening on U.S. Highway 43, near John Swindle Road.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says Audra Mary Rogers, 36, was killed when a 2007 Volvo XC90 driven by a Northport woman collided head-on with a 2012 Honda Pilot driven by Rogers. The crash occurred at approximately 6:13 p.m., roughly 10 miles north of the Northport city limits.
Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene, while ALEA reported that the other driver and her passenger were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
