NWS: Significant Weather Event Possible For Tuscaloosa Wednesday
Here's a look at the latest report from the National Weather Service as two different severe weather systems approach Tuscaloosa.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — There is an increasing likelihood for strong storms across west Alabama Monday afternoon into the evening as the first of two strong systems expected this week, according to the latest update from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Birmingham.
The NWS says severe thunderstorms are possible Monday into the evening hours, mainly across the northwestern half of central Alabama, with the main threat being damaging winds up to 60 mph and hail. Forecasts also insist a tornado cannot be ruled out.
The current hazardous weather outlook went into effect at 9 a.m. Monday and will expire at 6:3o a.m. Tuesday morning.
