TUSCALOOSA, AL ? The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says one person was injured and another is in custody following a Tuesday morning shooting at the Ramada Inn on Skyland Boulevard.

Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the multi-agency unit, told local media that the victim was receiving medical treatment, but stopped short of giving more on the victim's status.
