Organizers Reschedule Tuscaloosa StoryWalk Debut For Sunday
The possibility of inclement weather has prompted organizers to reschedule the rollout of the new StoryWalk from Saturday until Sunday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Public Library on Thursday announced that inclement weather expected on Saturday has prompted organizers to reschedule the Tuscaloosa StoryWalk kickoff event. The first installment of the new concept will premiere instead on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Tuscaloosa Public Library and University of Alabama College of Human Environmental Sciences, along with Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) are collaborating on the Tuscaloosa version of the concept, which will see laminated pages from a children's picture book displayed along an outdoor path, with directions along the way to lead participants to the next page of the story.

The kickoff event will begin at the Tuscaloosa River Walk, starting on the south side of the Tuscaloosa River Market.
PARA says the event is free and open to the public, before pointing out that other locations are being developed for permanent StoryWalk trails in parks throughout the county.
