PARA Collecting School Supply Donations For Upcoming Year

Here's a list of items that PARA will be accepting in the school supply drive, which started this week and lasts through Aug. 1.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority began collecting school supplies this week for students in city and county schools ahead of the upcoming school year.

The donation drive will run through Aug. 1. Any person who donates items valued at $10 or more will given a free visit to any of PARA's activity centers.

  • Binders
  • Crayons
  • Folders
  • Markers
  • Notebooks
  • Calculator
  • Backpacks
  • Glue sticks
  • Pencils and pens
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Colored pencils
  • Pencil cases
