TUSCALOOSA, AL. — Two long lines of vehicles snaked through the parking lot of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6022 all the way to University Boulevard in Cottondale Wednesday as the VFW and Harvest Outreach Ministry came together to give back to hundreds of people in need on Veterans Day.

To commemorate a day dedicated to the men and women of the United States military, the groups — with food donated by the West Alabama Food Bank — partnered to provide more than 300 food boxes to families and others in the community.
