Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Tuscaloosa County Until 7 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Tuscaloosa County and much of central Alabama through this evening.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Tuscaloosa and 21 other counties until 7 p.m. tonight
The National Weather Service forecast office in Birmingham says Tuscaloosa County, and much of central Alabama, will be under a slight risk for hail up to the size of a hail dollar and winds in excess of 20 mph.
While storms will roll in this afternoon and evening for west Alabama, the primary threat is expected to be between midnight and 10 a.m. Saturday, with the NWS placing all but the northeast portion of Tuscaloosa County under an enhanced risk for tornadoes and wind up to 70 mph, along with damaging hail.
