Shelton State Basketball Star Signs With Middle Tennessee State
Shelton State's Justin Bufford has signed to continue his college basketball career at Middle Tennessee State University.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Fresh off a memorable postseason run, the Shelton State Buccaneers men's basketball team (23-1, 16-0) celebrated one of its talented stars making the leap to the next level as 6-7 forward Justin Bufford signed this week to continue his career at Middle Tennessee State University.
During his freshman season for coach Joe Eatmon, the Montgomery native led the Bucs in points per game (13. 3) and points on the season (324). Bufford also showed his range by finishing second on the team for rebounds per game during the 2020-2021 season.

His best performance during his lone season in Tuscaloosa would actually come in a rare 81-74 regular season loss at Coastal Alabama, where Bufford notched 21 points and three rebounds, shooting 55% from the field.
