Snowden Steps Down As Tuscaloosa CFO, City Issues Statement
The City of Tuscaloosa says it has mutually agreed to part ways with CFO Susan Snowden after she was recently placed on administrative leave

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa says it has mutually agreed to part ways with its chief financial officer, Susan Snowden, after it was announced she had been placed on administrative leave earlier this month.
While the reasoning behind Snowden being placed on leave has not yet been made public, the split appears to be amicable, as Mayor Walt Maddox and the outgoing CFO both issued statements on Wednesday.
“The City would like to thank Susan Snowden for her dedicated and skillful service over the past six years including her role as Chief Financial Officer," Maddox said. "Being CFO is a difficult and demanding position, and Susan managed it well with honesty and steadfast determination that made a real difference.”
