T-Town Snow Hosting Fundraiser Monday To Benefit Animal Shelter

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Looking to enjoy this last bit of a long holiday weekend with a summertime treat? What about one that also benefits a worthwhile cause?

T-Town Snow will have its snow cone trailer set up at the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter today (Monday, July 5) at 3140 35th Street. From noon to 2 p.m., each purchase will see 25% of the proceeds donated to the shelter.

As Patch previously reported, The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter received 275 animals in June alone, and while the shelter has been proactive in hosting mobile adoption events and specials, the recent influx of pets underscores the need for as much community support as possible. This includes everything from monetary and supply donations to volunteer hours.
