Tornado Warning For Parts Of Tuscaloosa County Until 6 P.M.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for Tuscaloosa County until 6 p.m., which is not expected to impact the City of Tuscaloosa.
The Tornado Warning is currently for west central Tuscaloosa County, southeastern Pickens and north central Greene County, with NWS saying a spotter-confirmed tornado was located over Union, roughly 11 miles north of Eutaw, moving northeast at 35 mph.
A Tornado Watch for the area is also in effect until 10 p.m. tonight.

Impacted areas listed in the warning include: Coker, Union, Mantua, Jena, Lake Lurleen State Park, Snoddy, Buhl, Tierce Pattton Bridge, Pioneer, Echola, Romulus, Elrod and Lake Tuscaloosa.
