Tuscaloosa Police Respond After Man Shot In Leg Friday Afternoon
Police believe the shooting occurred while the shooter and victim were in separate vehicles on 35th Street near 11th Avenue.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Friday. Investigators believe the shooting occurred while the shooter and victim were in separate vehicles on 35th Street near 11th Avenue.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirms officers were called to the residence on 11th Court at approximately 4 p.m. to a call of a man shot in the leg.

Roughly 15 minutes after the shooting, police said the victim had reportedly walked to a nearby residence and a person there called 911.
The case has been turned over to the multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit and the victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been announced in the case and the investigation is ongoing.
