Tuscaloosa Seeking Community Feedback On Public Transit System
The city of Tuscaloosa is conducting a survey through Elevate Tuscaloosa to gather feedback on future improvements to public transportation.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The city of Tuscaloosa and the Tuscaloosa Transit Authority on Monday announced the launch of a community survey through Elevate Tuscaloosa concerning the city's transit system.

The city says the results of the survey, which takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, will help to shape future improvements to the public transit system. The survey is available online in English and in Spanish, as well as in paper form.

“A robust public transportation system is a pillar of a well-designed city,” Mayor Walt Maddox said. “Thanks to Elevate Tuscaloosa, our city is in the position to evaluate our current public transportation system and devote the resources to create and execute a comprehensive plan for improvements.”

To incentivize participation, citizens who complete the survey may choose to be entered to win either two Tuscaloosa Amphitheater concert tickets or a $100 Visa gift card.
The survey launched on Monday and will be open until March 1.
