Two Killed In Tuscaloosa As Claudette Moves Over Alabama
Saturday night's storm resulted in the deaths of two people after a tree fell on a mobile home on Hargrove Road.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Police say a 24-year-old man and three-year-old child were killed in the 5900 block of Hargrove Road Saturday night when a tree fell on a mobile home.
The incident was first confirmed on social media by Tuscaloosa City Council President Kip Tyner and later by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.
Violent Crimes Unit Captain Marty Sellers said more information would be released soon, but declined to confirm the relationship of the two victims.

Other rescues were also reported due to flood waters Saturday night, as Patch previously reported, including one on Hunter Creek Road that was documented by WVUA's Kayla Smith.
While power is still out for nearly 400 Alabama Power customer in Tuscaloosa on Sunday morning, at its highest point outages topped 2,000 for the county Saturday evening.
