TUSCALOOSA, AL — Personal finance website WalletHub recently published its 2021 list of the Best and Worst Cities for Football Fans and it should be no surprise that Tuscaloosa finished near the top of the rankings for fans of college football.
Despite having its most dominant run in program history under coach Nick Saban, with six national championships in 15 years, WalletHub ranked Tuscaloosa No. 2 overall among the best cities for college football fans, edged out by Clemson, South Carolina in the top spot.

Tied for No. 31 for best city for professional football, Tuscaloosa managed to finish No. 29 overall on the list for football fans in general.
While Crimson Tide fans will no doubt be disappointed to lose out to Clemson for the top spot, Alabama football fanatics in Tuscaloosa can take solace in knowing that rival Auburn was ranked No. 60 among cities for college football fans.
